Driver, 38, Killed In 4-Car Crash On Hunterdon County Highway: State Police

Rachael Macdonald, of Washington, was heading southbound in a GMC Acadia when the vehicle entered the northbound lanes and struck the left rear of a Chevy Express near milepost 36.6 in Lebanon Township around 4:50 p.m., NJSP SFC Philip Curry told Daily Voice.

The GMC then re-entered the southbound lanes and continued south before entering the northbound lanes once again, striking the left of a Mercedes Benz and the front of a Toyota Tacoma.

Macdonald was killed in the crash, Curry said.

No other injuries were reported.

Route 31 was closed for about three hours for the investigation, which remains ongoing.
